The Big Pumpkin Challenge

St Vincent Room challenged us to a pumpkin bake off. We all made something different and had a shared lunch. 

Trafalgar Room made pizza and baked potatoes with pumpkin stuffing.

There were 3 different types of pumpkin soup.

It was a nice day and the children tried out lots of different things.

Trafalgar Room Refurbishment

We are loving our new classroom environment.

It is so nice and bright.
Ralph said that he loved our new house.

Life in the pool

The class are thoroughly enjoying their time in the pool. Often their comment at the end of the day regarding their best part of the day is referring to their time in the pool.

Settling into class

There were 8 new children starting in Trafalgar Room at the beginning of term. They are a great wee group and with my 6 who started at the end of last year we are settling into routines very well.

We have moved into the old Victory Classroom while we wait for our own classroom to be upgraded.

We have a wee shop in class and the children are enjoying shopping sprees and acting as shop keepers.

Tabloid Sport with Hira School

What a fantastic day on Friday, with Hira School coming to visit for Tabloid Sports. The children interacted with each other really well and the events were well thought out and organised. We started with a welcome at the hall. Mrs Hockley welcomed Hira and the boys did a Haka. Hira joined us for Jump Jam, which was a lot of fun. Watch out for the stories, from the class later this week.
